After the meeting in Podyjí National Park, Czech Republic, in September 2014, initiated by the EUROPARC Federation Czech Republic, EUROPARC is heading to a new geographic section – EUROPARC Central and Eastern Europe.
The new section will be formed in March 2015 during the Members’ Assembly in Šumava National Park in Czech Republic, and will operate as an informal association of the EUROPARC Federation members from Central and Eastern European countries. This new section will work to enhance new bilateral and/or multilateral cooperation related to nature conservation, develop new partnerships and cooperation between Transboundary Conservation Areas, implement transboundary conservation projects and facilitate exchanges among the section members.
