With some delay, we are pleased to share that the recording of our recent webinar, Ecological Connectivity and Transboundary Conservation in Practice: Tools and Insights, is finally available on our YouTube channel, IUCN WCPA TBCSG.
Held on 28 May 2025, this session was part of the Vital Sites Series organised by IUCN WCPA in the lead-up to the IUCN World Conservation Congress, which will take place in Abu Dhabi in October 2025. It was co-organised by IUCN WCPA, the Transboundary Conservation Specialist Group (TBCSG), and the Connectivity Conservation Specialist Group (CCSG). This webinar brought together experts from around the world to explore key guidelines, tools and case studies on connectivity and cross-border cooperation—key elements in achieving especially the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework's Goal A and Target 3.
